NYU Steinhardt professor and all-around knockout vocalist Justin Moniz, accompanied by pianist Phil Kadet, recorded a number of musical pieces with us last week during a series of cozy sessions in our Mezzanine studio. All recording sessions were tracked by Dubway engineer Russell Castiglione through our SSL console, making judicious use of the high-ceilinged spaciousness of our live room to capture the active sound appropriate for a piano in this genre. Moniz and Kadet are both widely recognized musicians (Moniz is also an acclaimed pedagogist) and they brought an excellent energy and sound to our space.
