We recently had the joy of recording new music by composer Kevin Dolan, with cellist Ben Larson performing and coordinating strings, and Kevin conducting. Dubway recording engineer Zach Grappone sat behind the boards for this session, and the group, together with a full string quartet of players, had what sounded like a very fruitful session, managing to record a tenor vocal track in addition to the planned material for the day.

Both Kevin and Ben are extremely active figures in the New York new music and contemporary chamber music worlds, known for writing and performing (respectively) challenging and diverse new works by living composers (Kevin included!).
